1. Overview & Statutory Mandate

The Grievance Redressal Cell at Annada College, Hazaribag is established to uphold accountability, transparency, and fairness across the institution. The Cell functions in strict compliance with the latest University Grants Commission (UGC) regulations and statutory amendments, providing a structured mechanism for addressing and resolving legitimate grievances of students, faculty, and staff in an expeditious and confidential manner.

2. Functions & Operational Responsibilities

“The Grievance Redressal Cell functions strictly as per the latest UGC Regulations and official amendments on the subject. It is dedicated to maintaining procedural fairness, impartial inquiry, time-bound disposal of complaints, and total protection of complainant confidentiality.”

·         Statutory Compliance: Strict execution of all grievance proceedings in full compliance with current UGC regulations, state guidelines, and university statutes.

·         Multi-Tiered Redressal: Channeling complaints to specialized groups (Central Administration, Departmental, Women's Welfare, and Anti-Ragging) for targeted resolution.

·         Time-Bound Disposal: Conducting swift, fair inquiries and resolving grievances within stipulated UGC turnaround timelines.

·         Confidentiality Guarantee: Ensuring complete anonymity and protection for complainants against any form of prejudice or victimization.

·         Appeals & Administrative Review: Providing a transparent escalation path to the Principal and Governing Body if a complainant is dissatisfied with initial outcomes.
