The department has well qualified faculty members, uninterrupted power supply and high speed internet facility. Apart from them, faculty members of other universities/organisations are invited regularly to deliver special lectures and conduct theory and practical classes. The department has well equipped library and computer laboratories where they can practice their programming skills. There are two laboratories and more than 100 computer systems with the latest configuration, LED TV and multimedia projectors.

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION

·         . A candidate will be eligible to join First Semester of BCA Course, if he/she has passed 10+2  examinations or Intermediate or any other equivalent examination with a minimum of 45%  aggregate in any discipline (Arts/Commerce/Science) with mathematics/Business  Mathematics/Computer Science/Information Practices(I.P.) as one of the subjects.

Note: Passed in mathematics/Business Mathematics/Computer Science/Information Practices 

·         A candidate will also be eligible to join First Semester of BCA Course, if he/she has passed 2-year ITI Course in Computer Science after matriculation.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Application form and prospectus can be obtained from the department or college counter on payment of Rs.300 in cash.

Documents to be submitted along with application form:

1.    Original Transfer Certificate / Migration Certificate of  10+2 or Intermediate

2.     Statement of marks of qualifying examination (Photocopy of 10+2 or Intermediate)

3.    Admit card of qualifying examination (Photocopy of 10+2 or Intermediate)

4.  Aadhaar card (photocopy)

      5. Caste certificate

      6. Passport-Sized Coloured photographs – 5 in number

Note:

Candidate must carry relevant original certificates and prescribed fees with them at the time of admission.

MAXIMUM INTAKE

Total No: Of Seats: 100 seats. Resevation of seats for SC/ST/OBC will be followed as per the rules and regulations of Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribag.

The syllabus of the course includes compulsory on the job training programme.The college has arranged for on the job training for the students in the reputed and well established organisations such as DVC,NTPC,BSNL,CCL,MSME KOLKATA,HCL and many more.
