Sociology increases the understanding and power of social action. It's
the study
of the role of social institutions in the development of the
individuals. Sociology
provides critical insight and perspective to the solutions of social
problems. It
contributes to making good citizens and finding solutions to the
community
problems. It adds to the knowledge of the society.
In our college, we offer the students to take undergraduate courses in
sociology.

which deals contemporary social problems and issues to extends their
knowledge about social dimensions. Faculty also assist students with

analysis and interpretations for better understanding.
If a student wants to pursue undergraduate course in sociology, they can
apply
after completing an intermediate or equivalent examination from
recognized
education board.
Sociology offers multidimensional career options for graduate students.
They can
choose this subject to appear for civil services and other public
services. After
completing graduation with sociology, students who want to continue
their
education, can opt for post-graduates courses like L.S.W. (Labour and
Social
