1. Overview & Mandate
The Literary Society at Annada College,
Hazaribag is a supervisory and advisory body for the college administration.
Its primary aim is to develop, enrich, and encourage literary skills, creative
writing, multilingual appreciation, and critical thinking among the students of
the college.
2. Core Purpose

“To provide
an inspiring cultural and literary platform that cultivates eloquent
expression, fosters multilingual literature including Bangla script and
heritage, publishes digital magazines, and encourages active participation in
intra- and inter-collegiate events.” |

4. Functions & Key
Responsibilities

Literary Competitions: Conducting competitions for
diverse literary events such as poem recitation, debates, elocutions, essay
writing, and creative expressions within the college.

Event Notification &
Outreach: Displaying
notices and publicizing information regarding intra- and inter-collegiate
literary contests and workshops.
·
College E-Magazine: Publishing and managing the
official online college magazine hosted on the college portal to showcase
students' creative writings and articles.
·
External Event Participation: Encouraging and mentoring
students to participate in district, state, and national-level literary events
and competitions outside the college.
·
Bangla Language & Heritage:
Actively
promoting the Bangla script, language, and literature among interested
students.
·
Bangla Learning Classes: Conducting regular interactive
classes for the promotion and foundational understanding of Bangla script,
literature, and culture.
·
Student Database Maintenance: Maintaining an updated
institutional registry and record of Bangla-speaking students across the
college.
