The Literary Society is a supervisory and advisory body for the college administration. Its primary aim is to develop and encourage literary skills among the students of the college.

FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES

1.         To conduct competitions for literary events like poem recitation, debates, elocutions and so on within the college.

2.         To display notices regarding inter and intra college literary events.

3.         To publish online magazine for the college on the college website.

4.         To encourage students to attend literary events outside college.

5.         To promote Bangla script, language and literature among the students.

6.         To conduct classes for the promotion of Bangla script, language and literature among the students.

7.         To keep a record of Bangla speaking students of the college.

 

MISCELLANEOUS

Membership: The membership of nominated members of the Career Counseling and Placement Cell shall be for a period of two years from the date of notification.

 

Meeting:        The Committee should meet at least once in every quarter.

Quorum:        The quorum for the meeting shall be two-thirds of the total number of members.

 

Record

Keeping:         The agenda, minutes and Action Taken Reports are to be documented with official signatures and maintained in a register and electronically in a retrievable format.

 

Reporting:      A copy of the same will be submitted to the IQAC of the college for preparation of various reports of IQAC. And a soft copy of the same has to be submitted to the Principal (Administration) and to the Secretary (Management) of the institution.
