The Career Counselling and Placement Cell is a supervisory and advisory body for the college administration. Its primary aim is to provide the much-needed life skills to the students, update them about various Career options available and help them to find job placements.

FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES

1.      To help in the training of students to improve their employability.

2.      Approaching the potential recruiters for conducting placement drives for the students of the college.

3.      To help in conducting and coordinating campus placement process.

4.      Supervision in the arrangements during the aptitude test / interview conducted by the recruiting companies.

5.      Maintaining discipline and decorum in the hall where students are assembled during placement.

6.      Co-ordinating with the computer lab during on-line tests.

7.      Updating training / placement news and data on the college website from time to time.

8.      Coordinate for quizzes and competitions organized by different companies.

9.      Constantly making an endeavour to empower students to achieve professional and personal success.

 

MISCELLANEOUS

Membership: The membership of nominated members of the Career Counseling and Placement Cell shall be for a period of two years from the date of notification.

 

Meeting:         The Committee should meet at least once in every quarter.

Quorum:        The quorum for the meeting shall be two-thirds of the total number of members.

 

Record

Keeping:        The agenda, minutes and Action Taken Reports are to be documented with official signatures and maintained in a register and electronically in a retrievable format.

 

Reporting:     A copy of the same will be submitted to the IQAC of the college for preparation of various reports of IQAC. And a soft copy of the same has to be submitted to the Principal (Administration) and to the Secretary (Management) of the institution.
