COMMITTEE FOR PROMOTING RESEARCH AND SEMINAR
ACTIVITIES

The Committee for Promoting Research and Seminar Activities is a
supervisory and advisory body for the college. Its primary aim is to promote
and support the research activities among the teachers and students. It also
targets to foster the activities concerning seminars.

FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES
1.
To
initiate, promote and support research and seminar activities in the college.
2.
Facilitate
the conduct of seminars.
3.
Promoting
the culture of classroom seminars, brainstorming sessions, webinars, etc.
4. Disseminate
research information to the teachers and students.
5. Obtain
free publications as offered by various organization.
6.
Promote the funding of
research activities at both the local and national levelby encouraging
corporate and individual donations.
MISCELLANEOUS
Membership: The membership of nominated members of the Career Counseling and Placement Cell shall
be for a period of two years from the date of notification.
Meeting: The Committee
should meet at least once in every quarter.
Quorum: The quorum for the meeting shall be
two-thirds of the total number of members.
Record
Keeping: The
agenda, minutes and Action Taken Reports are to be documented with official
signatures and maintained in a register and electronically in a retrievable
format.
Reporting: A copy of the same will be submitted to
the IQAC of the college for preparation of various reports of IQAC. And a soft
copy of the same has to be submitted to the Principal (Administration) and to
the Secretary (Management) of the institution.
