1. Overview & Mandate

The Committee for Promoting Research and Seminar Activities functions as a supervisory and advisory body for Annada College, Hazaribag. Its primary aim is to cultivate, promote, and support high-quality research initiatives among teachers and students while fostering an active scholarly ecosystem through national and international seminars, workshops, and academic discourses.

2. Core Purpose & Academic Vision

“To establish a vibrant research culture across all academic departments, encourage continuous intellectual enquiry, facilitate faculty and student research publications, organize multidisciplinary seminars and webinars, and secure institutional, governmental, and corporate funding for research advancement.”

4. Functions & Key Responsibilities

·         Research Initiation & Support: Initiating, promoting, and supporting high-impact research projects and academic inquiry among faculty members and students across all disciplines.

·         Seminar Facilitation: Facilitating, organizing, and coordinating institutional, national, and international seminars, conferences, and symposia.

·         Classroom Seminars & Brainstorming: Promoting the culture of student-centric classroom seminars, interactive brainstorming sessions, group discussions, and webinars.

·         Information Dissemination: Regularly disseminating research updates, call-for-papers notices, fellowship opportunities, and conference alerts to teachers and students.

·         Scholarly Resource Procurement: Obtaining free academic publications, scholarly open-access journals, and research monographs offered by various reputed academic and research organizations.

·         Funding & Grants Facilitation: Promoting the funding of research projects at both local and national levels by encouraging CSR grants, corporate sponsorships, and individual donations.
