1. Introduction
The Anti-Ragging Cell at Annada College,
Hazaribag is a dedicated institutional body established to ensure the safety,
security, and overall well-being of students by preventing and addressing any
instances of ragging across the campus. Ragging is a serious concern within
educational institutions, and this cell plays a crucial role in maintaining a
harmonious, inclusive, and respectful academic environment.
2. Statutory Definition of
Ragging

“Ragging
refers to any act that causes physical or psychological harm, discomfort,
distress, or harassment to a student within or outside the educational
institution. This includes, but is not limited to, bullying, teasing, abusive
language, and any form of humiliation.” |
3. Focus & Key Objectives
The primary focus of the Anti-Ragging Cell
is to eliminate any form of ragging within the college premises, ensuring
students pursue their studies without fear of harassment, intimidation, or
harm.

Safe & Secure Environment: To create an inclusive, safe,
and supportive campus environment for all students.

Awareness Generation: To raise awareness about the
harmful effects and severe statutory consequences of ragging.

Proactive Deterrence: To discourage and prevent
instances of ragging through continuous vigilance and inspections.

Support & Rehabilitation: To provide comprehensive
counseling, psychological guidance, and support to affected students.
